Jubilee Art In The Gardens is currently on hiatus.
ARTISTS MARKET
The Artists Market will be located in the Galleria Gardens across from
the Renaissance Waverly Hotel near the intersection of I-285 and I-
75. Long known as Cobb’s Platinum Triangle, the area surrounding
the Galleria is considered one of Atlanta’s most affluent business
and social communities. 150 spaces will be available for the outdoor
Artists Market and a regional Juried Art Exhibition will be held inside
the elegant Galleria 600 Office Tower. Separate fees and guidelines
will apply.

Artists who wish to sell work in more than one category must
submit one application, jury fee and three (3) slides of current
artwork and current booth for each category, but only one space
rental fee is required. Items omitted or not consistent with the slides
will not be allowed. Only the artist’s original work will be displayed.
Reproductions of an artist’s one-of-a-kind original paintings,
drawings, collage or mixed media may be exhibited subject to the
following:
• All reproductions must be signed and numbered.
• All reproductions whether framed or unframed, must be
clearly and individually labeled ‘REPRODUCTION’ or ‘LIMITED
EDITION REPRODUCTION.’
• Framed reproductions may be displayed in browse bins and/
or hung from one wall of the booth.
• Unframed reproductions may be displayed in browse bins
but not with the artist’s original work.
We do not accept any commercially-produced work; works made
from commercial patterns; casting, items made from kits,
embellished items such as decorated or painted boxes, furniture,
craft items, flower arrangements, mass-produced items, note cards,
decoupage, candles, clothing or accessories. Artists must be at their
booths at all times. The Jubilee Cultural Arts Alliance reserves the
right to remove unsuitable works at any time. The booth fee will not
be returned if removal is deemed necessary.

APPLICATION
Each application must include three (3) numbered and labeled slides
representing all items for sale. A slide of the display booth
(10x10 white booth only) with the artist name should also be included.
Slides should be labeled with the artist name on top, red dot, medium
of work and number on the bottom.
FEES
Each application must include two (2) separate checks made payable
to the Jubilee Cultural Arts Alliance. 1) $25 per category jury fee
2) $185 space rental fee. Deposited checks that are returned by the
bank will void entry into the Exhibition. No refunds will be made.
Only one artist per space. Each artist must provide their own tent
and display furnishings. Tables must be skirted on three (3) sides.

SELECTION
Artists will be assigned an ID number and the slides reviewed
anonymously. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of judges
comprised of artists who exhibit in festivals, practicing visual artists
and/or curatorial staff from prominent art institutions. All slides
will
be reviewed simultaneously. All work intended for exhibit must be
represented in non-booth slides. Slide and artwork descriptions will
be
read by the jury.
Notification of acceptance or rejection will be mailed in early July.
A waiting list based on the next highest scores in each medium will
be
created. Artists on a waiting list will be notified. Slides for accepted
and wait listed artists will be held for verification.

AWARDS
Over $3000 in cash awards will be presented in the Artists Market. A
distinguished juror will be charged with selecting the award winning
artwork. Awards will be announced during a sponsor reception on Friday,
October 1, 2004.

INDOOR JURIED ART EXHIBITION
THE CATEGORIES
• Painting - oils & acrylics
• Painting - watercolor & pastels
• Printmaking – etching, woodcuts serigraphs, etc
• Drawing
• Sculpture – metal, clay, wood or any mixture in 3-D form
• Photography
• Mixed Media
• Fine crafts
Two-Dimensional works should not exceed 48x48 inches framed and
ready for hanging with wire in place. Work not properly framed will
be disqualified. Three-dimensional works should be no more than
45 lbs. or 60” in all directions. All work must be hand delivered
and
picked up. No reproductions or copies will be accepted.

AWARDS
Awards for the Indoor Juried Art Exhibition, including purchase prizes,
will
amount to $3000. A distinguished juror will be charged with selecting
the
award winning artwork. Awards will be announced during a sponsor
reception.
APPLICATION

to have accepted into the Exhibition. The cost of
entering 1-3 slides is $25. Slides should be labeled
